Sullivan Children's Foundation (SCF) was started in October of 2004 by Sullivan International Group, Inc. Steve Sullivan, CEO of Sullivan International Group, created a company culture where supporting the community through financial contribution and employee volunteerism was a natural part of doing business - helping the community that helped the company become a success. This continues to play a key role in how the company operates and is at the heart of Sullivan's corporate culture today. SCF is run by a dedicated board of directors and a key group of volunteers from Sullivan International and the greater San Diego community.
SCF's mission is to enhance the quality of life for children in San Diego County by supporting programs that provide needy children health care, education and quality of life programs throughout the region. The foundation supports this mission by organizing multiple fund raising activities each year. Funds raised are used to create, promote and support non-profits that align with SCF's mission.
